Description:

Flipkart is hiring a Network Engineer I to design, deploy, manage, and support large-scale data center and backbone network infrastructure. The role involves network operations, troubleshooting, automation, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure reliable and scalable network services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage data center and backbone networks.
• Monitor network performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Support network automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Participate in on-call support and technical discussions.

Key Technical Skills:

TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, Networking Protocols, Linux, Python, Bash, Ansible, REST APIs

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of networking experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with data center network operations.
• Understanding of Internet technologies and routing.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• Knowledge of network automation using Ansible and REST APIs.
• Scripting experience with Python or Bash.
• Good communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
